I'll sometimes get this error on the self-test after my machine has
been up and running for a while...maybe heat related...others have
indicated you'll get this with a Zip GS card installed...I have one
installed and sometimes I get the error and sometimes I don't, often
if I retest immediately, the error goes away...occasionally I'll
clean the gold-tipped fingers on the card with alcohol and dry them
well and the problem goes away...it might even disappear with simple
reseating...but I don't have a clue about your Control Panel symptom.
