Concerning your post - Re Who is Dr. Tom?

I am Dr. Tom.  If you have such a disk, it is illegal and you should 
erase it.  I assure you, it was never made available by me, with my 
premission, assistance or knowledge!

That disk and the program "Spectrum v1.0b (beta 25 if I recall 
correctly), was mailed to me (personally), with the name Dr. Tom on it 
and coded into the actual beta as such, by none other than Earl, Pres. 
of Seven Hills Software. If you doubt that, then email or call him for 
verification.

Both Earl and I are fully aware of its distribution via the Internet.  
We know who stole the copy of my beta, how they stole it and who 
arranged for it to be made available via Internet and BBS services.
Both the Director of 'The Internet Society' and the FBI were also made 
fully aware of all the facts concerning this, as well as the President 
of Quality Computers (now Scranton), Joe Gleason, whom it was also 
mailed to by one of the individuals involved in the theft of several 
beta and personal disks of mine, that were never intended for 
distribution to anybody or any place, other than where they were stored 
(for safe keeping and personal back-up), when they were stolen and 
distributed.

I assure you, I certainly did not do it. For peace within the A2 
community, neither Earl or I took any legal action with those involved 
in this hellish event and nightmare, which occured in the summer of 1993 
and that I'm still having to deal with.

I'm on the very best of relations (now) with Seven Hills Software and 
even provide their web site on my own server, with their assistance, 
blessings and thanks.

I hope this will clarify this matter to you and the entire A2 community.
I don't know how much more I can make the facts known, concerning it.
There are many other individuals that know all of this.  Now everybody 
reading this Usenet group, should also have the facts for their review!
