IWII blinking error lite help!

	I just got a ][gs system with a ImageWriter II but whenever I 
turn the sucker on, the error light blinks... I checked with the manual, 
which said it could only be two things; the cover is off and a jam in the 
print mechanism.  I don't have a clue what could be wrong with it because 
I don't see anything jammed and I know for sure that the cover is on.

I've also checked the dip switches and their all on the factory default, 
I just hope the last owner didn't touch the last two on sw2.

Any help would be greatly welcomed!
