Is there any way to protect our apple II's from this problem?

I've seen plenty of windows PC's assume room temperature after
their power supplies decided to be a bit too energetic. No POST
beeps, no video output. DEAD.

My IIe is full. $$$$ worth of hardware in there. my Carte
blanche should be here in a week or so. I don't want to blow
all of this neat stuff up.

?inline fuses?
?+5,-5,+12,-12 circuit breakers?
