Umm, GNO/ME does preemptive multitasking which Windows 3.1 can't.  On the
Mac side, System 8.0 won't be able to either.  System 9.0 (Gershwin) will.

Also, the latest GS System software is System 6.0.1 and the GS bus is
1 Mhz.

I use SunSparcs, SGIs, PowerMac 9500s, Pentiums, etc. at work which are
really powerful and userful, but I still prefer my GS to tinker around
with at home.  There's just something you can't put your finger on...
maybe the "Rudy" effect :)  rootin' for the underdog.
