Downloading 2c files via Mac 5 1/4"Drive?

Has anyone had any success downloading Apple 2c files from
the net using a Mac compatibile 5 1/4 "floppy drive?
The 2c has no modem, but the Mac has the modem, floppy
drive, drive card, and soft-pc.
Please help. The 2 c is at my son's school and we'd like to get them
some new software.
