Is it shareware? Hell yes. That's why I started this "rants about
cheap users" thread last week: I release a program that has a lot of
popular acclaim, and nobody does what the directions say: "If you use
it for more than two weeks, you are obligated to send in $10 to me."
Once again, here's what Swatdisk does... It allows you to create up
to 4 ramdisks of virtually any size (16K to 3072K, even weirdball
sizes like 140K) at any time under GS/OS, use them like any other
disk, and when you're done with them, you can free up the memory. RAM5
forces you to one disk in a size multiple of 32K, and you can't free
up the memory for better things.
Swatdisk is great for unpacking those annoying disk archives (no
need to find an unused 800K floppy)-- just create an 800K swatdisk,
unpack to it, copy stuff off, and dump the swatdisk in the trash.
Many people here have said that Swatdisk is a real neat program.
I love the compliments, but cash really helps, too. :)
