Take a step back: there is _no_ Ethernet interface (publically
avaiable, anyway) for any Apple II, including the IIgs.

Apple designed and built a IIe/IIgs EtherTalk interface card, and a
few beta copies of it exist, but the project was cancelled before the
card was released.

It is possible to access an EtherTalk network from a IIgs or IIe if it
is connected to a LocalTalk network, and there is a router which
connects the LocalTalk network to an EtherTalk network.

There has never been a IIc Ethernet/EtherTalk interface. Apple did
have an idea of doing a LocalTalk interface for the IIc at one point,
but it was never implemented, and support was removed from the ROM in
the later versions.
