You can use the Prodos version of the assembler on your IIc and with
the 3.5" drive.

You probably should check the IIc to make sure it has a 3.5"
compatible ROM. Poke around here or on google to find the ID bytes.
There are at least three versions of the IIc, and the oldest did not
support 3.5" drives, but it did support an external 5.25 drive. In
fact, type in PR#7 and see what happens.

Most binary software for DOS 3.3 will not work on Prodos, most
Applesoft programs will work with very minor tweaking.

There are ways to use DOS 3.3 on a 3.5" drive, but it takes hacking.
