"Was it 7-Up? That's okay, it's the un-cola..." One thing you might look for that may enhance your procedure is one of those old 5.25" drive cleaning kits that have 5.25" cleaning pads. The one I have includes a floppy disk case that the pad goes in. You could just as easily put your washed platter in the case making a 5.25" floppy cart. -John
