A week or so I did a mockup of a standalone IRC app for an Apple //e and
thought I might want to try my hand at writing the core. I've written IRC
stuff before, but only for PCs.
I know nothing about 8-bit network stuff or about the Uthernet, although
obviously that's my best route (alongside possibly ppp/slip support for the
Super Serial and its GS counterpart). Does anyone have any good sample
code? Also, as I don't have any way to test this in hardware, I presume
I'll need to run applewin in vmware? (Linux user. I don't think running
applewin in WINE is gonna let me use networking.)
