Still doesn't, and isn't likely to ever have an equivalent.  It is
less of an issue on the Mac, as you have widely avaialble
object-oriented systems that can take care of the standard desktop
elements for you (e.g. MacApp).

The IIgs Desktop is about the level of Mac System 6, with a small
number of features from System 7.

Finder has keyboard navigation, but we are missing features such as
balloon help (not that I would want it anyway), hierarchic menus
(there is a third-party add-on which implements them), drag-and-drop,
expandable directories in list views in Finder windows, etc.
