Yeah, we've seen this. I think they actually talk about it in the AW5 Delta
Manual. It has something to do with how AW4 and 5 disable interupts on the
GS. The cure is to launch AW4 & 5 from ProDOS 8 instead of the Finder. In
haven't tinkered with this yet, but it may be as simple as writing a a little
one-line Applesoft program like...

10 PRINT CHR$(4);"-Applwrks.System"

and launching that from the Finder. I do that to launch old binary programs
from Sneeze. Come to think of it, you might want to launch an 8-bit program
selector like Sneeze, then launch AW 4 or 5 from there.

Also, as a side-note, I installed AW5.1 on my IIe's hard drive and I never
see the second-boot-bug.
