That's what I ended up doing.
In any case, whether the problem is caused by line noise or gremlins, it's
apparent than many of us have similar minor problems that appear and
disappear at random.
And, sure enough, nothing I do today can toggle mousetext while online.
But, now that I know that many others have seen something similar, I'm not
really concerned anymore.
