MACH 3.5 AIIe Accelerator Card

Further clarification on the accelerator card problem. The card
has in large letters MACH 3.5 and painted over on one version and hidden
by a glued on dummy ic on another copy the letters M c T. The card deates
from 1979 to 1981. I set up a SCSI drive using an Apple Rev C SCSI card
on a GS. I then moved both the Rev C SCSI card and the hard drive to
the 2e and the system immediately crashes to the monitor when the power
is turned on. If I do a O-A ctrl-reset I get the basic prompt and a pr#6
again causes the system to freeze. If I remove the SCSI card and leave the
accelerator card the system functions just fine using the floppy drives.
If I replace the SCSI card and drive and remove the accelerator card and
install the SCSI card the system functions okay.

This week-end I resurected one of my old Sider drives and these seem
to work okay with the MACH 3.5 accelerator card. All programs work except
AW3.0. The program lads and boots okay but cannot read data or info from
the hard drive. This is another problem which I am also trying to figure
out.

I believe the Rev C is non DMA so I don't think that is the problem.
Is it possible the accelerator card is taking memory space that the SCSI card
uses? Is there any possible work around other than removing the accelerator.
Having always used accelerated machines this would not be acceptable but
might be for the person I'm trying to set the machine up for. BTW as
several people have mentioned the transwarp does indeed work which is
what is in the BBS I have set up.

Thanks to those of you who have responded and perhaps this
additional info may shed some light.
