For what it's worth, the Sequential Systems 8 meg card is the CV-Ram 8
meg card. In fact it has CV-Ram stamped right on it. This is a card that
I believe Drew created and rumor has it that it is fully DMA compatible
to 8 megs (especially if one is using the Ramfast SCSI--both were made by
CV--but I've had some tell me that were using it that way with an Apple HS).
I have this card at four megs. Very nice little card, very small. The ram
chips are the same (I think) as those in the Ramfast rev. D 1 meg boards.
It is a 4-layer board (I think that is the term) so there is no
problem at all with noise.
I am very pleased with the board. If I were going to buy it again,
I'd probably just order the board populated to 8 megs.
