I had my //e with a meg ramdisk on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 3
YEARS! Yes, I would occasionally turn it off to move out of the dorms
or to stick a new card into a slot, but by and large it was always on
and never failed. It still works great, and it is 11 years old! I have
no delusions that my pentium will last that long.
