yes, in general - though if you want hardware handshaking some Mac cables
wont do.. call Alltech Electronics 619 724 2404. I'm told their cable
works.

write to corem@genie.geis.com - he loves passing out comms 'ware..if he
has 6.0.1, he can also read PC disks, though the mac is a better choice

the best commercial comms for the IIGS is occasionally argued over - but
for my money, it's ANSIterm.  VT100 is as good as it gets on the Apple II,
fast file transfers, good macro language..all in all, great product.
