Copland is the last name of Aaron Copland, an American composer who died
in 1990. It is also the code name for Apple's forthcoming operating system
otherwise known as System 8. Apple seems to like codenaming their OSes for
composers. System 7 was Mozart and "System 9" is Gershwin.
