this is Apple II land - we hate macs too

 I use Win95)

this is supposed to make ANY of us feel better? Win95 - slower than
windoes 3.1, NOT plug and play no matter what the hype says..

software exists on Delphi, GEnie, and AOL, not to mention the apple (and
other) ftp sites, and local user groups/bbs.

the IIGS is like any other common compute - it will easily use any
external "Hayes Compatible" modem. IT will NOT normally run MS-DOS
software, any more than a Macintosh will.

sure - all you need is a modem cable (can be had for about $10 various
places - a CORRECTLY wired mac hardware handshake cable works just fine on
mine)
