The goop's easy to remove.  I was talking about the plastic itself becoming
discolored.  If you leave any of the Apple equip in sunlight, beige cases
turn brown, white cases turn yellow and platinum cases turn tan.  I don't
let sunlight touch anything new but I'm concerned because stray UV should
affect the plastic years from now and I pick up a lot of used hardware
that I'd like to restore.
