Scantron Quality Computers?

I called QC today to find out when they plan to send out II Alive (if 
ever) and when they might be releasing AW 5.1 and if it were indeed a 
free upgrade to fix AW5 bugs.  I was greeted with the recorded voice 
saying "Scantron Quality Computers".  The rep confirmed that Scantron had 
acquired QC on Monday (presumably a week ago).  He said they were a 
Georgia-based firm in the education business.  Since new takeovers 
generally try to wring the profits out of their prey, I'm worried that 
this might signal the end for QC's commitment to the Apple II 
community.  In answer to my original question, II Alive should be out in 
a few days, and QC will not release AW 5.1.  Randy Brandt will sell it 
directly.  It's in testing and ought to be released in several months.

Does anyone out there know anything more about this?  Does anyone know 
anything about Scantron?  Could anyone at QC or Scantron who reads this 
allay or confirm my fears?
