Need help with printer buffer

Hi!

Recently I got a buffer for serial printer. Unluckily there were no docs
with it. I already asked the people in comp.misc & comp.periphs for some
more information, but only got few and unspecific responses. However, one
of them told me that serial printer buffers were widely in use with Apple
Computers.

Now my hope is, that some of you own the same buffer as I have, and that they
are willing to mail the important parts of the documentation to me.

Here comes a short description of the buffer (I'll post more on request):
It's name on the frontside is MICROBUFFER. The sticker on the bottom says
that it is a PPI (Practical Peripherals) 6033S. The dates on the board and
some of the chips inside say, that the buffer is from the year 1985 (or later).
Currently it is equipped with 32k, but can be upgraded to 256k.

What I need from you are the following details:
- How do I set speed and protocol for the serial interfaces
- How do I put more memory in it
- What are the other jumpers for (if they have a specific meaning)
- How do I use it anyway

Many thanks for your help in advance,

Wolfgang
