HELP! HFS trouble

My 200meg HFS partition "disappeared".

Somewhere a friend heard of a way to save the content of a IIGS HFS 
partition if you could hook it up and mount it on a Mac and run Norton 
Utils on it.

Anyone here know anything about it? And don't even have a clue to "mount" 
it on a Mac.
