There is software for sending and receiving fax. The only one that is is 
currently out is FAXination by Vitesse. Its not as good as everyone 
thought but heck it works with most modems now. Paul Parkhurst is also 
working on a fax program I beliave its called PMPFax. I heard that its 
comming alog just fine. There may be another but I am not sure. I have 
Faxination and it works fine for me. I can send and receive fax with out 
any problems. Just what ever you do, don't purcahse Vitesse 
Faxmodem/Faxination package. The reason is because unfortunally they are 
selling a lemmon of a modem with the package. You are better off chopping 
around for your Faxmodem. Hope this helps:)
