Checkmate IIe 80RAM ?

I picked up a Checkmate 'IIe 80RAM' card.  It goes in the aux. slot and
has 8 KT4164 chips, a SN74S245N & a SN74LS374N; so I assume it's an
expanded 80 column card.  However PR#3 doesn't give me 80 cols like it
should.  Anyone have info on this one?
