It's probably a font ID number conflict.

The official font ID number for Chicago is 65534 ($FFFE).  This is probably
the ID number recorded in your bitmapped Chicago font files.  But for some
reason, the Truetype Chicago that ships with Pointless has a font ID of
16383 ($3FFF).

So that's why you have two Chicagos in your font menu--the Font Manager thinks
that since they have different font IDs, they must be different fonts.

I have the same problem in my own font menu.  Someday Real Soon Now I'm going
to get out a sector editor and change my Truetype Chicago ID to 65534.  Until
then, I just put up with it.
