While this is technically correct from an "out of the box" standpoint,
you should look into several solutions for using parts of a ProDOS disk
for DOS 3.3 programs in various manners.
There's a shareware program called DOS 3.3 Launcher that will allow
one to run many DOS 3.3 programs (full-disk and single-file) and other
non-DOS 3.3 full-disk programs (games, for example) from a ProDOS partition.
It doesn't work with everything, but it works with MANY things, and is very
useful.
Glen Bredon, author of the ProSEL hard disk utilities/launcher, sells
DOS MASTER, which sets up a DOS 3.3 "partition" within a ProDOS volume.
I believe you then run a special program, and "enter" DOS 3.3, and then
change volumes and such similar to using real DOS 3.3 on a hard drive.. He
includes a program to copy files to the DOS 3.3 "subvolume".
(To everyone else -- Has Glen Bredon yet gotten on this over-cliched
Information Superhighway yet?!)
