If it IS the Drive that's bad, not the power supply, I'm sure you can
replace it. I have a sider 10 meg that is a SCSI drive (Seagate, I think).
If there are any old IBM unk dealers in your area, ask if they have an
old 10/20 meg scsi HD. I'm sure you could get it cheap.
The seagate drives sometimes tend to "stick" so the disk wont spin up. If
you take the cover off your sider, you can rap a few times on the drive
with the handle of a screwdriver to get it rolling. (It also makes you
feel better sometimes)
My Sider is not autoparking, so be sure you park your heads when you power
down, or you will hammer your boot sector to death!
