I've seen it work on a SVGA and IIGS monitor -- both worked fine
it seemed, and the colour quality was quite impressive.

Redmond doesn't know very much other than they supply the little
multi-out connectors & cabling. What a helpful company.

This's correct. There's I believe one pin modifcation you have to
do which's kinda funky, but that's it. (shrugs)
