GDT Powerprint Problems

Hello everybody,

in order to use an Epson Stylus 800 both on an IBM and an APPLE Performa 630
system, a friend of mine bought the Powerprint adaptor/ driver software.
Unfortunately it keeps stopping after some printed lines telling that there
are transmission problems and recommends me to go on later. This does not
happen with MS word, but with several DTP programmes like Quark and
Pagemaker and even with simple text transmissions like from EUDORA.
He can't use the support, because they didn't include the serial number stick
in the package (stupid isn't it?). Besides, I don't know how to address an
applelink-connection (GDT.MKT) from Internet. So:
Does anybody know how to make the printer work properly or has got an update
of the ESC-P2 driver for Epson inkjet printers?.
