I've used Kermit and you're right, I don't like it. Great vt100 keys 
emulation, however, something the guys who make ProTerm can learn from. 
Kermit would be better if it were mouseable(?) and if you could get 
macros working right on it. I've resorted to Kermit on several occasions.
