Spectrum Scripting...

I have a question for any Spectrum Script Programmers out there. Is
there a way under vt100, to store an image of the current screen
(including cursor position, which I already know how to do), clear it,
run a script, then restore the screen again? I can't seem to figure out
how to do it, or if it's even possible.

Also, anybody interested in starting an area on grind or caltech for
Spectrum scripts? I'd love to upload some of mine, as well as see other
people's work. Anybody know if there are any "big" scripts in the
works? Considering how powerful the language is, I'd love to see some
big-time developments for Spectrum. I'm currently working on one right
now, to use the mouse and a graphical display to navigate the internet.
It will work if you run it from a Unix shell on your account. It's only
in the alpha stages right now, but I'm still working. :)
