I fear that you are being sent a UDC (universal disk controller) card, NOT THE SAME THING! I have both in my system, and the FDHD card has only ONE cable. You are right, the SuperDrives are daisy-chainable. The UDC WILL NOT run the SuperDrives! To attempt to do so you would risk frying your machine!
