Soundmeister stuff

Ok, another question... I'm on a roll.  Is there anything I can do to the 
Soundmeister to SHUT IT UP?!  Quiet down all the whining?  I heard the 
newer boards were different, and somewhat better...  What I really want 
is the quietness of the stock GS headphone out, but in stereo... can it 
be done?  hello?   <cricket noise>
