The Mac LC II can read ProDOS disks if it has the PC Exchange software
installed (which will also allow you to read/write to MS-DOS-formatted
distsk) or if you have the ``ProDOS File System'' extension installed
from the Apple // Card software for the LC and similar Macs.

Mac disks are HFS-formatted disks (HFS == Hierarchial File System).

I would assume that the LC II can run AppleShare software, though it
might not be the *best* choice for a server.
