I think it's worth it, yes, especially if you are a programmer (lots of
active folk over in A2Pro, much more than can be said about say CIS). But
also as a plain "user" you should find GEnie (A2) attractive ... a very
large file base, including "Lost Classics" (former payware released to the
general public by its authors through GEnie's urging), a very lively set of
discussion groups (without all the flamewars you see on csa2 :) ... so,
yes, I think it is good.

Uh, a problem there. GEnie can get awfully expensive if you don't use an
offline processor such as GEM. I would _highly_ recommend 1MB of RAM, maybe
a better modem (14,400 sells for dirt and dust now), and AW 5.0 (a very neat
program that no self-respecting //e should be without :).

Definitely take a look. With sign-up fees routinely waived for you etc., you
simply cannot lose.
