I'm about to get an ethernet card for my SE so I can connect it and my Quadra
together. I've tried ethernet before and found out it's a mondo pain in the
butt to be switching between ethernet and localtalk all the time. I've seen
talk about an Apple software package called Localtalk Bridge, which routes
data between ethernet and localtalk on a machine connected to both. It's
supposed to sell for $100, quite a bit cheaper than those hardware bridge
gizmos. I haven't seen any talk about it though, even over in comp.sys.mac.
Anyone heard of it or used it?
