Replace the 65c02 processor with a faster version. Once upon a time
there was a product called the RocketChip which ran at a blazing 10 MHz!
They were sued out of existance, however, for copying Zip Technology's
Zip Chip accelerator (top speed of 8 MHz).
You should still be able to find a Zip chip by checking the
comp.sys.apple2.marketplace newsgroup and/or some of the resellers
mentioned in the csa2 FAQ.

I think the max on any add-on board is 1 Meg (plus the base 128K).
Applied Engineering made memory boards for all versions (they were
physically different) of the //c logicboard. Again, check
csa2.marketplace and the resellers if you want to locate one. The most
popular of AE's boards were the ZRAM Ultra series (I, II, and III).
They were all basically the same, but some of the higher-numbered
models included CP/M and clocks (if memory serves).
