Re: More Laser 128 questions, This Time Dumber
Since I've gotten my new Mac PwrPC 7100/66, I've given up techie stuff and
have become real brainless about solving old-time hardware/software
problems...
But, I need help with my Lazer 128. It's a good machine, perfectly
adequate with Appleworks installed. I've got an extra floppy drive (no
not a 3.5") and a couple of old modems.
I want to turn it into an internet terminal for family e-mail from
Venezuela. But, I can't seem to get my communications software going.
Apparently, Kermit for AppleII doesn't work on Lazer 128. What do I do.
Will Proterm work? Which version? Where can I get it real cheap?
