I had my 1 Meg IIc on 24h aday for several years... the only time
it would go off was during power failures. At least 4 or 5 years
of continual operation. No bbs just wanted to maintain the ramdisk.
During the last 6 months, when I wanted to turn it back on, I would
have to try several times before it would boot up and initialize
properly, then I had even more reason just to leave it turn on cuz
I didn't know if it might not want to be on later. I put that
machine thru hell and it did the same to me.
