SCSI troubles
I've just discovered that my Quantum 105 LPS in Ehman case only wants to be on
the end of the SCSI chain. I tried an Apple 40SC, an APS 230 mb magneto
optical, and a Seagate 60 mb in an APS case on the end and in each case, the
machine went into the monitor shortly after getting to the GS/OS boot screen.
The machine boots fine with any of these before the Ehman, when it's at the
end of the chain. I didn't try it with my CD150 but it worked great with the
Quantum in a Chinook case. What gives? The Ehman has no internal termination
and I put the terminator block on the last device like you're supposed to and
everything.
Also I can't figure out why the IIgs (HS SCSI) acts like the magneto optical
isn't there when it's connected. Even Chinook SCSI Utilities makes like it
isn't there. It knows when the CD150 is on there and knows it doesn't support
it but the MO doesn't show up on the device list.
