If you are running GS/OS this is a really bad idea. The reason being
that GS/OS has a built-in cache for frequently-used blocks from the hard
drive. When you write files from one computer, the other computer has NO
way of knowing which blocks were updated or whether the information in
its cache is still valid. Under some circumstances this can easily lead
to directory corruption, file loss, and worse.
