        ANSITerm does very well, especially given the (non-SS) limitations of
the GS's video, but it's a _lot_ slower than a text-mode display.  I have no
doubt but that ANSITerm's display routines are about as fast as they can be,
but ProTERM is still _much_ faster.  I'm looking forward to getting a Second
Sight soon...  (-:
