well, i'm using a Franklin ACE 1000+ (basically a II+ with lower case) 
and i'm managing to run ProDOS 1.8 with Basic 1.5.  I was running 1.9 
for a while, but had a drive crash (and lost my only copy).

I would be running 2.0.1, but it requires the 65C02 (no problem, except 
when the transwarp is pulled... this is a touchy system for some 
reason, and at certain times it wants me to disassemble it for 3 days 
and it will mysteriously work).

i guess what i'm saying is that you ought to have no problems at all 
with anything up to 1.8 or 1.9.
