Perhaps "most" was a misnomer.  The AE one used for the Serial Pro, Z-RAM 
(IIc memory card with clock), and so forth does, however.  Caused me no 
end of problems trying to figure out why certain ampersand-driven 
routines that did ProDOS calls would work fine in programs but not from 
immediate mode.  I was working on a IIc at the time.

The funny thing about the AE clock driver is that it reads the time via 
softswitches, not GETLN, so there is no reason why they needed to use the 
input buffer, they just did it for no apparent reason.
