   This is the wrong order. Any 3.5" disks in the chain MUST come
before any 5.25" disks. Plug the Unidisk in to the back of the GS, and
then the 5.25" disk into the Unidisk. Also, check your slot settings
to make sure slots 5 and 6 are set to Smartport and Diskport
respectively.

   BTW, use the main Apple II newsgroup, comp.sys.apple2, rather than
bit.listserv.apple2-l; there's almost nobody on the bit newsgroup. This
article and followups sent to c.s.a2.
