I have connected my ImageWriter I to my amiga before through the serial port
with the help of a null modem adapter. I imagine some kind of similar setup
would work for an IBM if they have some way of routing the printer to the
serial port (I print from an IBM bridgeboard through a special program on the
Amiga side that routes the printer to the serial port).

However, if the IBM can't do that (which I don't believe is the case), then
there are parallel -> serial converters out there around $40 - $70 I have
heard.

  Give it a shot..
