It was a stupid thing to do. If I had known the power was on I would
have not done it. But I did it. I plugged and unplugged my 3.5 and
5.25 drive cables with power applied.
Now my system doesn't see a 5.25 drive and my 3.5 is acting like it
can;t be written to.
Then to boot, I screwed up my system disk trying to reboot off the
3.5. Thank god for my hard drive...
Questions:
1) Has anyone else done this? Was it just a matter of replacing the
reciever chips?
2) Does anyone have the pinout of the drive cable? This might be
handy to debug the problem.
3) Does anyone have the contents of the system disk? Assuming I can
ever fix my 3.5, is it just of matter of retstoring the contents
from my hard disk?
Email me w/ answers. Thanks in advance...
