Michael Quattrochi had a little complain about %50 for the card.

$50 may be a little expensive, but I just wanted to sort of give a ball park
figure as to what I would expect it to cost.  I originally intended to just sell
it as a kit, but it may workout best if I do "a small" amount of the work for 
people, then sell it as a partial kit (this will be investigated once I construct
the first pcb).  The other expense is software.  I have a friend who will write
the necessary software to allow music to be played on all eight speakers (if the
music supports 8 channel sound).  At the moment, I do not know of any software
that would support my card (I certainly do not have any that does), so it would
be useless for people to have the card.  Since I am not writing the software, I
do not know how much it will cost.

As for the card being inserted into a slot, I have received a reasonably amount
of mail from people asking for it to be external (they do not have the room for
it).  This is good... makes my life easier.  After all, all I need from the slot
is the voltages, and I have gotten them from somewhere else (don't ask me where,
you may be shocked, or even disgusted).

Also Michael, you do not have the docs that this was based upon, as it has not
been based upon any docs....  I have just been playing around, figuring out
what I need, and making a lot of short trips to my electronics store (each time
I purchase about 1 chip, 4 resisters and a capacitor - just enough to get the
next little bit done).


Anyway, don't want to start any sort of trouble, the $50 was just sorta ball
park figure... wait and see if I get it finished first, then we will sort out
how much it will cost (though I suspect it will work out around the $50...oh
this value will also include shipping... nothing I hate more than people saying
the widget only costs $49.95... and shipping and handling add $10 - why not
just make the product $59.95????  Also as most of the people purchase this will 
probably _not_ be in Australia, this should reduce the "actual" cost of the card
considerable)
